Balletbat Reflections: The Chemical Brothers

Rolling Stone included ‘Setting Sun’ in their list of the ‘200 Greatest Dance Songs of All Time’ in 2022.

The single was hugely successful, debuting at number one on the UK Singles Chart in 1996.

Shot on location at the abandoned Crystal Palace Subway in London.

The song was written and performed by English electronic music duo, The Chemical Brothers. It also featured vocals from Noel Gallagher (Oasis) and was also co-written by him.

The music video mixes a disturbing psychological confusion with moments of humoristic imagination - lo and behold featured artist Lexi Strauss, sees the police breakdancing.

Oh so much fun and my moustache (not my own) 🤔

I didn’t have too much room to operate, so loved ‘cutting some shapes’ 🎶🎶🎹🚨👮‍♂️🚔🎥💙
